Chemicals

We provide the chemicals needed for a safe and sustained pool.

  • Chlorine Tablets for tablet pools

  • Salt for salt pools

  • Liquid and Granular Shock

  • PH Up – Soda Ash

  • PH Down – Muriatic Acid

  • Alkalinity Up – Sodium Bicarbonate

  • Alkalinity Down – Muriatic Acid

 

Should algae appear, we eliminate it using a non metal based algaecide. Then follow that up with phosphate remover. These chemicals also come with the service.

We check Cyanuric Acid (CYA) periodically. High CYA can cause your sanitizer to stop working properly winding up with chlorine lock. This is why periodic dilution of the pool water may be required to keep your chemicals balanced.

Cleaning

Regular manual cleaning is an essential component to keeping your pool crystal clear. Every visit includes:
 

  • Remove all floating debris with dip net if apparent

  • Remove all floor debris with Power Vac, or traditional vacuum if needed

  • Brush Surfaces

  • Remove all debris from skimmer and pump strainer baskets

  • Empty floor cleaner bag
     

In addition, we use granular shock to lift most organic stains from the plaster surfaces. We have the ability to identify long-standing stains and can be removed in most cases. Removing existing stains may accrue additional costs.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance by an Advanced Pool Care professional will help avoid unsafe water conditions or costly repairs due to equipment failure. We will perform a thorough inspection of all:
